HRM does not involved in selling but how can it help the organisation?
HRM also plays a vital role in selling presumably. In
each and every organisation HRM provides man power
resources to make an effective platform in sales and
marketing. While they are recruiting salesman for a
product or service marketing or selling,
(1) HRM confirms sales peoples knowledge about their organisations product or service before recruitment.
Before, Hr management recruits a new person for sales,
they confirms that persons knowledge about their organisations
products or services. So that, they can ensure the new persons
knowledge before recruitment. They are finding out that new
ones knowledge and taking decision about recruitment. By this
activities they can provide a talented one to their concerned
organisation to improve selling.
(2) HRM cares about sales persons experience in their product or service field before recruitment.
While recruiting, HRM knows about new persons
previous experience in selling and marketing products or
services. By getting information, they can get into a conclusion
about that person and also they can decide whether new one is
suitable for their business or sales. If that person had a great
experience in their past they can help their new organisation by
selling more.
(3) HRM ensures the skills of sales person for a smooth marketing and sales.
Even, some one has their experience they can’t fulfill their
new organisations needs in selling. If talent lacks their nothing is
going to improve in sales. If they have some talents like unique
selling methods, knowing about demand or about predicting
sales market it will give a huge value to the organization.
(4) HRM provides a proper coaching to improve sales persons skills.
In some organisation, HRM providing coaching about
selling to their sales persons to improve their skill in selling.
From this they can train a sales person to perform really good at
selling. HRM provides internal and externals meetings with
consultants to improve their sales persons skills
(5) HRM co-ordinates between sales peoples and managements for sales efficiency.
Without a co-ordination and co-operation between sales
and management system they can’t grow their business or sales.
There is a connection between improvement in sales and coordination with these people. Without any updates a sales person
can’t perform well in any market. Management people have to
update a sales person about products or services new offer or
new price variation or about new market risks. There they need a
co-ordination. Here HRM plays a vital role in some organisation.
(6) HRM motivates sales people to achieve their goals and targets.
HRM motivates sales people by giving daily tasks, weekly
tasks, monthly tasks and yearly tasks and also giving a push to
complete their tasks to achieve their selling goals.
(7) HRM provides increments, incentives to sales persons to increase their sales.
By providing increments, incentives, increasing sales
commission HRM motivates sales peoples to sell more. When
they reach their targets on selling. By motivating sales peoples
they are improving sales too.
Like this HRM is helping their concerned organisation even, HRM does’nt involves directly in selling.
